GLC On-The-Go is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Chesapeake, Virginia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/09/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - Med Surg, Telemetry | Chesapeake, VA | Contract Quick Look Weekly Gross Pay: $2,522 - $2,655 Shift: Day 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) Start Date: 11/09/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Join a leading acute-care hospital in the beautiful Coastal Virginia region, just minutes from Virginia Beach and Norfolk. Chesapeake is an outdoor lover's paradise, offering hiking trails for all experience levels and more than 20 waterways to explore. Assignment Details: Unit: 6W Med/Surg Tele - Post-Surgical Unit High-volume post-surgical unit caring for patients including urology and GYN surgical populations. Schedule Options: 3x12s or 4x12s Overtime: Paid after 48 hours for 4x12 schedules. Every other weekend, floating, and holidays within the contract are required. Previous travel experience preferred. Active Virginia or Compact RN license in hand at the time of submission; Must be proficient in Epic; Compliance Requirements: The facility will not consider candidates with any license or background hits.
