Nut Former Operator
Department : Machine Shop
Position Summary: Operates automatic nut formers that have 5 forming dies and are equipped with automatic feeding mechanisms to precisely sheared to length and progressively form metal wire into dies and special nut products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Operates nut forming machines.
* Moves control to cycle machine through settings, stopping the machine and adjusting to positions and machine controls to allow for operating factors such as timing and the clearance between moving parts.
* Positions and secures heading wire onto stock feeding mechanism.
