It's the way you want to be treated.Position Summary: Responsible for the opening and closing of the department. Balances safe and cash registers and documents appropriately. Oversees the department staff and reports to appropriate manager. Oversees the department sanitation guidelines. Maintains food, cooler, freezes and dish machine temperature logs. Responsible for the delivery of food and services to patients and customers in a timely manner.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Assists the processes phone and faxed ordersChecks patient tray lineCloses out registers and balances after lunch and dinnerMaintains safe balanceMonitors and documents food, cooler, freezer and dish machine temperaturesAssists in the training and development of staffCovers staffing shortagesFills stock ordersCompletes tray line audits, sanitation auditsIssues disciplinary action for minor infractionsAssists in the developing employee performance evaluationsRequired Qualifications :Education and Training :High school or equivalentFood experience preferred and or previous lead or supervisory experience preferredGood customer relations, able and willing to follow instructions, able to communicate and understand EnglishKnowledge of terminology used for special dietsValid sanitation certificateWork Shift Details:Various, Various shiftsDepartment:NUTRITION SERVICES
