General Statement of Duties
The Nutrition Site Manager is responsible for the daily administration and operation of both congregate and home-delivered meal programs. This role manages one of seven key sites throughout the County, ensuring that elderly and disabled citizens receive high-quality, nutritious meals in a safe and welcoming environment.
This position serves as the primary link between the County’s nutrition goals and the community. Key responsibilities include:

Advocacy: Actively promoting program objectives to potential clients and the public.
Compliance: Maintaining meticulous records and reporting to the Nutrition Program Supervisor.
Essential Duties and Tasks
Food Service & Quality Control
Meal Coordination: Receive meals from vendors and verify that all food meets strict temperature and safety guidelines.
Preparation: Prepare food for both on-site (congregate) dining and off-site (home-delivered) routes.
Quality Assurance: Monitor vendor performance and report any shortcomings to the supervisor.
Cleanliness: Ensure all facilities, equipment, and utensils are sanitized daily and remain in good working order.
Leadership & Administration
Personnel Management: Train and supervise volunteers and part-time workers; resolve any performance or scheduling issues.
Documentation: Maintain accurate daily records of service activities and prepare required monthly reports.
Inventory: Manage and order supplies to ensure the center is never under-equipped.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
