Based in Norwood, MA, we've completed more than 40,000 projects throughout Greater Boston and the surrounding areas.We take pride in quality workmanship, reliable service, and delivering a great experience for our customers.About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Roofing Foreman / Field Supervisor to join our Production team.This is a hands-on field position for an experienced roofing professional who can oversee crews and subcontractors, coordinate daily job-site operations, keep projects moving, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to O'LYN's standards.The Roofing Foreman / Field Supervisor reports to the Production Manager and is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of assigned job sites and crews.What You'll DoPerform roofing and related job-site work and repairs while remaining hands-on in the fieldSupervise staff and subcontractors and coordinate daily job-site workflowDelegate work based on job priorities and help ensure projects stay on scheduleMonitor job progress and communicate regularly with the Production ManagerResolve job-site issues and identify practical solutions to keep work movingMaintain a safe, productive, and organized work environmentTrain and support field staff on proper equipment operation and safety proceduresMaintain work orders, job notes, reports, and other required documentationOrganize, stock, and monitor shop inventory, tools, equipment, and premisesEnsure work is performed in accordance with company policies, procedures, and safety standardsCommunicate professionally with customers, coworkers, subcontractors, and the Production ManagerConduct final job-site walk-throughs and help ensure completed work meets O'LYN standardsWhat We're Looking For5+ years of experience in roofing or residential construction2+ years of experience as a roofing foreman, crew lead, field supervisor, or in a similar supervisory roleStrong knowledge of roofing materials, products, systems, tools, and installation practicesExperience supervising crews and/or subcontractors and coordinating job-site workflowAbility to identify problems, make sound decisions, and resolve issues in the fieldOrganized and dependable with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesStrong communication and customer-service skillsComfortable working independently while coordinating closely with the Production Manager and field teamsProfessional appearance and attitudeValid driver's license and acceptable driving recordAbility to successfully pass a background checkAbility to work on ladders and roofs, lift up to 75 lbs., and work outdoors in varying weather conditionsWhy Join O'LYN Roofing?$27–$35/hour based on experienceFull-time, year-round workMonday–Friday scheduleMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) match and profit sharingLife insurancePaid time offCompany apparelSupportive, team-oriented work environmentOpportunity to grow within a well-established, family-owned companyAt O'LYN, we believe in putting the team first, maintaining strong ethics and personal integrity, taking pride in our work, and delivering a great experience for our customers.If you're an experienced roofing professional who enjoys working in the field, supervising crews, solving problems, and making sure jobs are done right, we'd like to hear from you.Apply today with your resume and tell us about your roofing and field-supervision experience.O'LYN Roofing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
