Roofing Field Service TechnicianO'LYN Roofing is a family-owned roofing company based in Norwood, MA. For more than 50 years, we've provided quality roofing, skylight, gutter, repair, and maintenance services throughout Greater Boston. Since 1974, we've completed more than 40,000 projects and built our reputation on quality workmanship and customer care.We're looking for a dependable, hands-on Roofing Field Service Technician to join our Production team.This is a great opportunity for an experienced roofing professional who enjoys working in the field, solving problems, taking pride in quality workmanship, and interacting with homeowners.You'll work on a variety of residential roofing and exterior projects, including roof repairs, installations, maintenance, roof cleaning, gutters, and related work.The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in roofing or a related residential construction environment and be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.What You'll DoPerform residential roofing minor installations, repairs, maintenance, and service work.Work with roofing materials, products, systems, tools, and equipment.Complete roof cleanings, gutter work, and related exterior services.Identify and troubleshoot job-site issues and determine appropriate solutions.Inspect completed work and make necessary adjustments.Coordinate daily job progress with the Production Manager.Maintain accurate job-site information, paperwork, and material records.Communicate professionally with homeowners, coworkers, and subcontractor crews.Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe.Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles.What We're Looking For2+ years of experience in roofing or related residential construction.Knowledge of roofing materials, products, and systems.Experience with residential roof installation, repair, maintenance, or service work.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field.Dependable, motivated, and able to meet daily schedules.Professional and comfortable communicating with customers.Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.Ability to pass required background check.Physical RequirementsClimbing ladders and working at heights.Working outdoors in varying weather conditions.Lifting up to 75 pounds.Standing, walking, bending, and working with tools throughout the day.Traveling between the O'LYN office and customer job sites.Why Join O'LYN?$25–$30/hour, based on experienceFull-time, year-round workMedical, dental, and vision insuranceEmployer-matched 401(k)Profit sharingLife insurancePaid Time Off (PTO)Company-provided apparelEstablished family-owned company with 50+ years in businessSchedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (or as work demands).At O'LYN, we believe the details make the difference.
