Job description

Indiana University Health System seeks an experienced Medical Coder to join our hybrid Indiana-based team. You will review clinical documentation and assign ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes.

Ideal candidates hold RHIT or CCS credentials, with 3+ years in ICD-9 coding, CPT and APC knowledge, and the ability to read medical records, stay focused in a high-volume environment, and communicate with physicians. You will also resolve pre-bill edits and support denials management while maintaining coding
