Overview
Unified Women’s Healthcare of North Carolina is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist/Nocturnist Physician to join a prestigious Women’s Health Care Center in Asheville, NC. The practice values a team approach to patient care and strives to provide an individualized, meaningful experience for every patient.
About the Practice
The practice consists of seven physicians and a dedicated support staff. All deliveries and GYN surgeries are performed at Mission Hospital, which has a level 3 NICU, robotics for specialized GYN surgeries, and hosts the Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC) residency program. The group is focused on hospital shifts with an emphasis on Labor & Delivery.
Practice Highlights
Shifts are at Mission Hospital, a level 1 trauma center with a level 3 NICU, hospitalist support, and a Da Vinci robotic system.
Private call room with full amenities.
Hospital L&D cover team supports hospitalist coverage.
Full‑time position: 5 pm – 8 am.
Provider is required to work 10 days per month, typically 2–3 consecutive shifts.
Malpractice coverage provided by the group.
Call is shared with another practice group.
Competitive compensation and benefits package, including a $30K commencement bonus and a $30K retention bonus.
