Job description
A leading academic medical center in Central Connecticut is seeking an experienced BE/BC OB/GYN Hospitalist to join its established team. This is an outstanding opportunity to practice in a high-acuity academic environment with extensive subspecialty support, teaching opportunities, and access to advanced maternal and neonatal care.
Position Highlights:
Full-time OB/GYN Hospitalist opportunity
12-hour and 24-hour shifts available
Provide L&D call coverage and inpatient support
Care for inpatient OB/GYN patients
OB/GYN consultations on the floor and in the Emergency Department
Oversee residents, fellows, midwives, and APPs
Participate in the OB Rapid Response Team
Involvement in patient safety and quality committees
Implement evidence-based medicine and quality initiatives
Extensive subspecialty support, including MFM, Urogynecology, Gyn Oncology, and MIGS
Level 1 Trauma Center
Level 4 NICU
Academic teaching environment with UConn OB/GYN residents

Qualifications:
Board Certified/Board Eligible in OB/GYN
3+ years of attending experience
Licensed or eligible for Connecticut medical licensure
