Overview
Our affiliate, Unified Women's Healthcare of North Carolina, is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist/Nocturnist Physician to join their Women’s Health Care Center in Asheville, NC. The team delivers compassionate, individualized patient care through a collaborative approach.
About the Practice
The practice is staffed by seven physicians and a dedicated support team. For almost 40 years it has served the Asheville community, performing all deliveries and GYN surgeries at Mission Hospital, which offers a level‑3 NICU, robotic surgery capability, and a residency program.
Practice Highlights
Shifts are located at Mission Hospital, a level‑1 trauma center with a level‑3 NICU and a da Vinci robotic system.
A private call room with full amenities is provided.
The hospital’s L&D cover team can tag‑team and assist hospitalists.
Full‑time position: 5 pm–8 am.
Provider will work 10 days per month, typically 2–3 consecutive shifts.
Call is shared with another practice group.
Group malpractice coverage is included.
