Job Details
Join a seasoned and growing team of APPs supporting 12 OB/GYNs and 11 CNMs in an inpatient OB/GYN setting
Open to both Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners, including new graduates
Responsibilities include postpartum rounds, discharges, and surgical care
Perform FBC rounds and first-assist in gynecology cases including laparoscopic and robotic surgeries
Assist with C-sections and practice at the top of your license in the OR
Full-time nights with a flexible schedule and premium shift differentials offered
No call schedule required
Conduct routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial treatment plans
Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs including referrals to specialists and care team members
Provide treatment for problems within scope of practice and refer appropriately when needed
Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License required (or eligible)
Must be a certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
Dedicated support provided through the Office of Advanced Practice
Access to state-of-the-art clinical technology including EPIC for streamlined continuity of care
Mentorship and orientation programs available for newly hired providers and those new to practice
Compensation
