Sansum Clinic, part of Sutter Health, is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our established Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) team in beautiful Santa Barbara, California.
This is an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive women's healthcare in a collaborative, outpatient setting while enjoying the support of a respected multispecialty medical group.
With no call responsibilities, dedicated medical assistant support, and a strong focus on preventive and reproductive healthcare , you'll have the opportunity to build meaningful patient relationships while making a lasting impact on women's health.

Opportunity Information
Position: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - OB/GYN
Location: Santa Barbara, California
Practice Setting: Outpatient Women's Health
Practice Highlights:
No Call Responsibilities: Enjoy a schedule free of call obligations.
Outpatient-Focused Practice: Provide comprehensive gynecologic and preventive women's healthcare in an established clinic.
Dedicated Clinical Support: One medical assistant per provider.
Established Patient Population: See approximately 20 patients per day in a busy outpatient setting.
Collaborative Environment: Work alongside experienced OB/GYN clinicians and a dedicated clinical support team.
Optional Postpartum Rounding: Opportunity to participate in postpartum rounding, depending on your interests and practice responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive well-woman examinations and preventive health screenings.
Provide contraceptive counseling, education, and management.
Perform IUD and Nexplanon insertions and removals.
Evaluate and manage common gynecologic concerns.
Provide women's health triage, follow-up visits, and ongoing patient education.
Develop individualized care plans that support patients' reproductive and preventive healthcare needs.
Collaborate with physicians and clinical support staff to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
Participate in postpartum rounding, if desired and applicable to the role.
Qualifications
Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with directly related OB/GYN or women's health experience.
Board certification in the applicable discipline.
Current California licensure.
California furnishing license, as applicable.
Authorization to work in the United States.
Strong clinical knowledge of preventive women's healthcare, contraception management, and gynecologic conditions.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.
