This is an excellent opportunity for physicians seeking a flexible, part-time schedule while practicing in a supportive, collaborative environment.### Opportunity Highlights* Part-time employed position with a flexible scheduling model* 24-hour in-house hospitalist shifts* Provide care for obstetric and gynecologic emergencies in Labor & Delivery and the Emergency Department* Care for unassigned patients and accept/manage transfers from regional hospitals* Provide after-hours OB/GYN coverage for the local practice* Dedicated surgical suite with robotic surgery capabilities* Approximately 600 births annually* Level II Nursery* 16 LDRP rooms* Collaborative team environment with experienced physicians and clinical staff### Compensation & Benefits* Competitive compensation based on the number of shifts worked:+ **PRN:** $4,761.92 per 24-hour shift+ **Part-time/Status Positions:** Competitive salaried compensation based on FTE status+ Additional compensation opportunities may be available during periods of increased staffing need or vacancy coverage* Commencement bonus available for eligible status positions* CME allowance available for eligible status positions* Malpractice coverage provided* Eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)* Relocation assistance available for eligible status positions, if applicable* Comprehensive benefits package available based on position status and eligibility**Qualifications*** MD or DO* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology* Eligible for unrestricted Illinois medical licensure* Current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe medications as appropriate* Eligible to work in the United States (J-1 and H-1B candidates welcome to apply)## About MercyOne GenesisFor more than 150 years, MercyOne Genesis has provided compassionate, high-quality healthcare to the communities it serves.
