Job description
Overview
We are seeking a Board‑Certified OB/GYN to join a 100% inpatient, shift‑based OB Hospitalist team at a Level III perinatal center and NICU in Terre Haute, Indiana.
Responsibilities
Provide inpatient obstetric care in a 9‑bed OB Emergency Department, Level III Perinatal Center, and NICU with approximately 1,800 deliveries per year.
Manage high‑acuity obstetrics, including operative deliveries, VBAC support, and primary C‑sections.
Work scheduled shifts with 24‑hour in‑house coverage, no clinic duties, and predictable scheduling (7–8 shifts/month, 84 shifts/year). PRN 1–3 shifts/month optional.
Collaborate with in‑house obstetric anesthesia, CRNA, neonatology, and maternity support teams.
Qualifications
Board‑Certified OB/GYN.
Experience or interest in inpatient obstetrics preferred.
Schedule & Compensation
Full‑time: 7–8 shifts/month (84 shifts/year). PRN 1–3 shifts/month optional. 24‑hour shift 8 AM–8 AM.
Paid $3,840 per 24‑hour shift.
$322,000 annual income and higher.
$25,000 sign‑on bonus.
$4,500 CME + $1,000 license allowance.
$10,000 relocation assistance.
Malpractice with tail coverage; medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.
Visa support and J‑1 sponsorship available.
Conrad 30 eligible, 100% success rate.
