Job description
Position: Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Physician
Role & Responsibilities
Provide inpatient obstetric care as an Obstetrics Hospitalist on a 24-hour in-house call shift.
Manage a variety of cases including suction dilation and curettage, laparoscopy, non-stress tests, cesarean sections, and tubal ligations.
Collaborate with a team supported by 3 PAs, midwives, and additional staff during overnight shifts.
Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and patient management.
Qualifications & Skills
Valid medical license, with preference for Michigan license; Interstate Medical Licensure Compact considered.
Certifications in BLS, PALS, and ACLS are required.
Ability to work independently with strong clinical skills in obstetrics and gynecology.
Key Duties
Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic inpatient care during assigned shifts.
Respond to calls from midwives or staff as needed, with minimal assistance required.
Maintain adherence to credentialing and licensing requirements.
