Job Summary
Trident Health and Summerville Medical Center are looking for an OBGYN to join their Summerville Women's Care practice in Summerville, South Carolina.
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
South Carolina license or the ability to obtain one prior to starting
Responsibilities
Provide obstetrics and gynecology care as part of the Summerville Women's Care practice
Maintain a call schedule: 1 set call day per week with 1:6 night call (home call) and average 1:6 weekend call coverage with Full Time OB Hospitalist support
Potential for involvement with the OB/GYN residency program

Summerville Medical Center has invested in growing the hospital’s women’s and pediatric care to provide high-quality care close to home. The facility offers a women’s and neonatal tower with 30 postpartum private rooms, 12 labor and delivery rooms, a 6-bed Level III NICU, and 7 special care nursery beds. The Trident Health system consolidated obstetric and neonatal care at Summerville Medical Center in 2019. It also offers a high-risk obstetric Maternal Fetal Medicine Clinic, a comprehensive breast health program at the Summerville Breast Center, and pediatric subspecialty programs, along with a pediatric ER, inpatient unit, and ICU.
