Job description
A health services network in New York City is actively seeking a licensed Physician Assistant (PA) to join their Women's Health team in Manhattan, providing direct patient care for women presenting with a variety of gynecologic and women's health concerns.
Responsibilities:
Obtain patient histories, perform assessments, and assist with examinations
Assist with diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient follow-up
Support the physician with day-to-day clinical and patient care responsibilities
Assist with laboratory work, results, follow-up, and other clinical tasks
Help keep the physician organized and on track with clinical responsibilities
Assist with procedures and diagnostic services as appropriate
Educate patients regarding their health, treatment options, and care plans
Coordinate follow-up care and communicate with patients regarding results and next steps
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
NCCPA certified
New York State PA license or eligibility for NY licensure
Strong interest in Women's Health / OB-GYN
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative clinical environment
