Job description
OB/GYN Program Director 50% Leadership / 50% Clinical Baton Rouge, Louisiana Lead a 4-year OB/GYN residency program in Baton Rouge while maintaining a meaningful clinical practice.
Position Highlights OB/GYN residency program with 16 residents, 4 per class
Approximately 50% program leadership and 50% clinical oversight
Strong board outcomes and established residency infrastructure
Full-spectrum subspecialty support including MFM, Gynecologic Oncology, Urogynecology, and REI
Approximately 80-100 births per month
Schedule Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
Friday, 8:00 AM-12:00 PM
Leadership time structured around program oversight and administrative responsibilities
Clinical responsibilities include OR, L&D coverage, and resident clinic
Oversight of clinical rotations and resident call schedules
Future option to incorporate a private practice component if desired
Compensation and Benefits Base salary determined by training and experience
Program Director administrative stipend

Candidate Requirements OB/GYN physician with the experience and leadership presence to serve as Residency Program Director
Experience with ACGME accreditation compliance, curriculum development, and Clinical Competency Committee processes
Ability to recruit and engage faculty while supporting resident wellness, performance, and professional growth
Strong clinical skills across L&D, OR, and ambulatory women's health
Interest in teaching and physician education
