Grandview Medical Center (AL)Birmingham OB/GYN Hospitalist Opportunity
12-hour and 24-hour shifts available
Grandview Medical Center: The 402-bed hospital is an acute care and surgical facility serves the Birmingham community. It is home to a level III NICU, private labor/delivery rooms and post-partum rooms, and educational classes for new parents.

A day in the life includes: Caring for all pregnant women who present emergently, regardless of circumstance
Cultivating relationships with staff nurses and hospital personnel
Supporting private practice physicians by providing coverage and assistance
Caring for unassigned patients
Evaluating and treating triage patients
Providing consultation to the ED
Monitoring labor
Delivering babies
Performing surgery and surgical assists
Evaluating and treating postpartum patients
Providing nurse support and education
