Locums - Dover, Ohio OB/GYN Hospitalist (IMLC Accepted) Start Date

24-hour shifts7:00 AM - 7:00 AMWeekday 24-hour callMonday-Friday coverageNo scheduled weekend casesAll inpatient work - no clinic Hospital / Setting
Hospital - Labor & Delivery & Emergency DepartmentInpatient6 L&D bedsLevel I NurseryNo NICUNeonatologist onsite daily to cover the nurseryApproximately 500 deliveries annuallyOB/GYN mix: 80% OB / 20% GYN Responsibilities
Round on postpartum patientsManage spontaneous deliveries from the covered practicePerform scheduled C-sectionsManage spontaneous labor patients from the practiceProvide GYN ER call coverage when assignedProvide ER coverage when the scheduled date corresponds with unassigned ER callManage L&D, including high-risk obstetric casesPerform GYN surgeries, including laparoscopic and minimally invasive proceduresNo VBACsDeliveries at 35+ weeks Support
Sole provider onsiteNursing support staffAbility to call in another provider to assist with surgeriesAnother independent physician shares the unassigned ER call Procedures
All OB proceduresC-sectionsLaparoscopic and minimally invasive GYN proceduresCircumcisions are a plus Patient Volume
Approximately 500 deliveries annually80% OB / 20% GYN6 L&D beds EMR
Epic Requirements
Board Certified after 5 years of practiceBoard Eligible if less than 5 years of practiceActive Ohio licenseIMLC acceptedDEA requiredNRP certification requiredExperience managing high-risk OB cases and C-sections What is great about Dover, Ohio
