Job description
Facility in Escanaba, MI seeking ObGyn locums coverage Rates: $350/hr Opportunity Highlights Integrated Schedule: 24-hour call shifts starting at 8:00 AM, with clinic responsibilities (8:00 AM 5:00 PM) and morning inpatient rounding included in the daily rate.
Commitment: Approximately 10 shifts per month.
Support: Managed environment within a multidisciplinary hospital setting.
EMR: Epic.
Scope of Practice & Procedures Providers will manage OB/GYN patients across all care settings, including outpatient clinic, surgical theatre, and hospital floors. Clinical Responsibilities Include: Full-scope General OB/GYN care.
Obstetrics: Management of labor, vaginal deliveries, and C-sections.
Surgery: General OB/GYN surgical procedures (Laparoscopy, etc.).
Rounding: Daily inpatient rounding, typically performed in the mornings.
Call Response: Must maintain a 30-minute response time.
Provider Requirements Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of post-residency experience.
Licensure: Active Michigan State License and CSR are REQUIRED to apply.
Certifications: Active ACLS, BLS, and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) are mandatory for privileges.
Note: IMLC candidates will not be considered for this position.
Start Date Target Start: April 1, 2026.
