Locums OB/GYN Laborist Fort Mill, SC (Active SC License Required) Why This Role Two physician openings

In-house Laborist coverage
Approximately five patients per shift

Patient Volume: Approximately five patients per shift

Patients Seen While on Call: Approximately 3 Äì5
Admissions: Approximately 1 Äì2
Response Time: 30 minutes
Annual Deliveries: Approximately 1,000
Department Size: 15 beds
Trauma Designation: Level II
Rounding: Assigned and unassigned patients
EMR: Cerner
Credentialing: Approximately 90 days; expedited processing may be available
Temporary Privileges: Unavailable
Requirements Board-Certified OB/GYN
Active South Carolina medical license
Current BLS
Low- and high-risk Obstetrics experience
Proficiency in routine and complicated deliveries
Surgical Gynecology experience
Ability to provide inpatient Laborist and emergency coverage
Clinical Details Manage low- and high-risk pregnancies
Interpret fetal heart-rate monitoring and obstetric ultrasounds
Perform vaginal, operative, breech, multiple, and VBAC deliveries
Perform C-sections and manage placental abruptions
Repair third- and fourth-degree lacerations
Provide open and laparoscopic Gynecologic surgery
Perform office and minor Gynecology procedures as needed
Collaborate with approximately 10 RNs
No APP supervision, resident supervision, or teaching responsibilities
