Locums OB/GYN Hazard, KY (KY license or IMLC)Why This RoleCall only; no clinicDefined November and December blocksApproximately 2 patients per shiftNo APP or resident supervisionMultiple providers consideredAssignment DetailsDates: Specific coverage blocks; ongoing dates not confirmedNovember block: November 24, 2026 orientation through November 30, 2026 at 7:00 AMDecember block: December 22, 2026 orientation through December 28, 2026 at 7:00 AMCoverage: Inpatient beeper call only; no clinicCall response: 30 minutesCall activity: Approximately 1 phone consult, 2 patients seen, and 2 admissions; 10% callbackVolume: Approximately 2 patients per shiftSetting: Inpatient; 5-bed department; assigned-patient rounding and admissionsSupport: 2 RNsEMR: MediTechCredentialing: Approximately 30 daysClinical DetailsRequired: Low-risk obstetric care, fetal heart rate interpretation, and Level I/II OB ultrasound performance and interpretationRequired: Vaginal and low-forceps deliveries, C-section decision-making and performanceRequired: Complicated deliveries, including breech, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACsRequired: Repair of third- and fourth-degree lacerationsRequired per source: Minor gynecologic procedures and open/laparoscopic gynecologic surgeryPreferred: AmniocentesisNot required: High-risk pregnancy management or laser certificationRequirementsBoard Certified in OB/GYNActive KY license or IMLCABLS, ACLS, BLS, and PALSActive DEAIf you're interested, please send - Updated CV - Current availability - Active state license(s) - IMLC Status - Preferred rate (We submit whatever rate would make the assignment work for you.
