Join a dynamic team providing essential OB/GYN care in an inpatient and outpatient setting within the same building. This locum tenens position offers the opportunity to engage in a full scope of general OB/GYN procedures without the expectation to schedule surgeries unless providing a second hand or first assist. - Schedule: Daily assignments include 8 hours of clinic with beeper coverage for the remaining 24 hours, weekdays and some weekends with call responsibilities
- Patient Population: Primarily Adult (some pediatric and geriatric)
- Location: Ketchikan, AK
- Stipends: Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates

Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care in both clinic and hospital settings
- Conduct thorough rounding and admissions
- Perform a variety of procedures within the full scope of OB/GYN practice
- Collaborate effectively with a second OB/GYN and other healthcare professionals
Qualifications
- BLS certification
- Ability and willingness to obtain Alaska medical license quickly
- Recent 24 months of case logs required
- Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
Working Hours
- Daily commitment includes 8 hours of clinic and on-call beeper coverage for the remaining 24 hours
- Occasional weekend call responsibilities

- Strong clinical skills in OB/GYN
- Proficient in patient assessments within adult populations and some pediatric/geriatric care
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Adaptable to both inpatient and outpatient settings
