OB/GYN Locum Physician Position Mt. Pleasant, MI

Shift: 24/7 hospital coverage, including OB call every 5th week (specific dates flexible)
Hours/Week: Full-time, as per hospital needs
Employment Type: Locum/temp assignment
Licenses/Certifications: Active Michigan medical license, Board-certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
Experience: Prior OB/GYN hospital-based experience preferred

What You ll Do:
Provide labor, delivery, and surgical OB/GYN care, including low-risk and complex cases
Manage prenatal, antenatal, and postpartum care
Perform C-sections, VBACs, and repair of lacerations
Respond to emergent surgical and clinical needs
Collaborate with support staff, including NPs, in a hospital setting using Cerner EMR
Cover OB call every 5th week, with flexible scheduling options
Ensure patient safety and quality care during all shifts
What You Need:
Required:
Active Michigan medical license with OB/GYN certification
Board-certified OB/GYN physician
2+ years of OB/GYN experience in a hospital or clinical setting
Ability to handle labor & delivery, surgical procedures, and emergent cases
Comfortable with using Cerner EMR
Preferred:
Experience with VBAC, OB ultrasound, amniocentesis
Ability to manage complex obstetric cases and high patient volumes
