Locum Tenens Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician Jobs in Las Cruces, New Mexico Locum tenens OB/GYN physician opportunity in Las Cruces, NM: join a busy hospital-based women's health team in a welcoming Southwestern community with scenic desert views, a warm climate, and convenient access to El Paso. This ongoing assignment offers meaningful Obstetrics & Gynecology practice in a Level III setting with strong weekly pay and fast credentialing.
Job Details Position Type: Locum tenens physician opportunity Specialty: Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks, ongoing need Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,270 - $7,420 Patient Volume: Approximately 25 patient encounters per shift Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 30 days Trauma Level: Level III Board Certification: Board certified required Certifications: ACLS and BLS required Job Requirements MD or DO with active physician certification Minimum of 1 year of recent Obstetrics & Gynecology experience required Board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology Experience managing low-risk and high-risk pregnancies Proficiency in fetal heart rate interpretation, including NST/CST/FSE Ability to perform and interpret OB ultrasounds, including Level I and Level II studies Skilled in amniocentesis, routine vaginal delivery, low forceps delivery, and cesarean decision-making Comfortable managing complicated deliveries, including C-sections, breech presentations, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs Competency in repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations ACLS and BLS certification required Responsibilities Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care for patients across a broad acuity range Evaluate, diagnose, and manage low-risk and high-risk pregnancies Interpret fetal monitoring studies and ultrasound findings to support safe patient care Perform routine and complex deliveries, including management of emergent obstetric situations Respond to labor and delivery needs, including cesarean decision-making and complication management Perform OB procedures such as amniocentesis and repair significant lacerations when indicated Collaborate with the care team to promote efficient, high-quality patient outcomes Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a dynamic hospital environment Interested in OB/GYN locum tenens jobs in New Mexico?
