Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician - Locum Tenens in Livingston, Tennessee Join a short-term OB/GYN physician locum tenens opportunity providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in Livingston, TN. This hospital-based physician job offers approximately 2-3 patient encounters per shift in Tennessee's scenic Upper Cumberland region, with easy access to outdoor recreation and proximity to Nashville.
Locum Tenens Physician Job Details Specialty: Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Practice Setting: Hospital-based obstetric and gynecologic care Opportunity Type: Short-term locum tenens physician assignment Location: Livingston, Tennessee Coverage Dates: December 23-25, 2026 Duration: Approximately 2 days Estimated Weekly Pay: $6,480-$7,670 Patient Volume: Approximately 2-3 encounters per shift Schedule: Shift details to be confirmed OB/GYN Physician Requirements Physician with at least 1 year of clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology Board certification or board certification eligibility required Current physician licensure eligible for practice in Tennessee Current BLS and PALS certifications Demonstrated competence in routine and complicated obstetric care Ability to provide care for low-risk and high-risk pregnancies Credentialing may require approximately 45 days Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician Responsibilities Provide evaluation and treatment for obstetric and gynecologic patients Manage low-risk and high-risk pregnancies Perform routine vaginal deliveries and manage complicated deliveries Perform and manage cesarean deliveries and provide care for breech and multiple births Interpret fetal heart rate monitoring, including NST, CST, and FSE when needed Support clinical decision-making for cesarean delivery Perform or assist with appropriate office, minor, and surgical gynecologic procedures based on clinical need and qualifications Collaborate with the care team to promote safe, high-quality outcomes for mothers and newborns Why Work in Livingston, Tennessee?
