Job Title: OB
Location: Longview, Washington
Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate : $233 - $251/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a OB for a temporary assignment in Longview, Washington. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a OB:
• Provide OBGYN physician services in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Conduct clinic hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Perform night call following daily clinic shifts with a 1:5 call ratio, 7 days of unrestricted call
• Perform OB/GYN procedures in clinic, Labor and Delivery (L&D), and OR gynecological cases
• Manage rounding and admissions for inpatient care
• Provide care for patients aged 16 and older with an average patient volume of 18 patients per day
• Maintain required clinical activity documentation including case logs for Obstetrics (minimum 100 patients, including at least 15 Cesarean sections and 30 vaginal deliveries) and Gynecology (minimum 50 patients) within the previous 24 months
• Maintain active Washington State medical license (MD/DO)
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Utilize Epic EMR system for clinical documentation
• Collaborate within a practice of 5 other physicians/clinicians
• Maintain a minimum of 2 years of relevant OBGYN experience
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements (no exemptions)
• Complete 8 hours of non-billable orientation
• Adhere to all credentialing, privileging, and compliance documentation requirements
