Job description Med Ninjas is seeking a Physician for short term locum tenens coverage at an inpatient facility located in Loxahatchee, FL
The Physician must be available for the complete coverage block from 10/9/2026 to 10/29/2026
This assignment includes inpatient hospital coverage, 24-hour in-house shifts, OB triage and deliveries, patient management, surgical assists, fetal monitoring, ER coverage, and weekend coverage.
Locum Tenens Hospitalist - OB
Shift: 24-hour, in-house shifts
Start Date: 10/9/2026
End Date: 10/29/2026 AND On-going
Position Details:
Patient Population: OB/GYN patients
Setting: Inpatient Hospital / Labor & Delivery
Responsibilities: OB triage, deliveries, patient management, surgical assists, fetal monitoring, ER coverage
Required Procedures: Deliveries; surgical assists; fetal monitoring
EMR System: Not specified
Support Staff: 4-physician team; Level III NICU, MFMs, neonatologists, and pediatric subspecialists
Days Per Month: Specific dates needed: October 9, 11, 20, 23, 24, 25, 29. There may be future dates as well.
On-Call/Weekends: 24-hour in-house shifts; weekend coverage required
Required Procedures and Skills OB triage
Deliveries
Patient management
Surgical assists
Fetal monitoring
ER coverage
Minimum 50 deliveries within the last 24 months
Requirements Board Certified in OB/GYN
Florida license preferred (or in process) or active IMLC compact eligible
Minimum of 1-year recent clinical experience
Must be Board Certified
