Job description
OB Hospitalist Physician No Call Des Moines, Iowa Join an established OB Hospitalist program focused entirely on inpatient obstetric care, with no clinic responsibilities or call coverage.
Position Highlights Inpatient OB Focus: Manage OBED patients, unassigned emergent cases, vaginal deliveries, C sections, and GYN procedures.
High Volume Program: Support approximately 3,000 deliveries annually, with a dedicated OBED seeing approximately 1,400 visits each year.
Hospital Resources: Practice within a hospital featuring a Level III NICU, multiple labor suites, and comprehensive postpartum support.
Subspecialty Support: Work with MFM specialists and a dedicated maternal transport team.
Shift Based Model: Practice entirely through scheduled shifts with no call responsibilities.
Annual Schedule: Work approximately hour in house shifts per year.
Candidate Requirements Board certified or board eligible Obstetrics & Gynecology physician
Comfortable managing OBED patients, deliveries, and surgical cases
Open to experienced physicians and new graduates
J 1 and H 1B visa sponsorship available
