Job Details Position: Locum Tenens OB/GYN Physician Location: Mount Pleasant, Michigan Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: September 25, 2026 Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts Coverage: 24/7 hospital coverage with on-call responsibilities every 5th week of the month Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,290 - $7,450 Patient Volume: Approximately 4 deliveries per day Clinical Support: 2 NPs on staff EHR: Cerner Job Requirements Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required Active Michigan medical license required At least 2 years of OB/GYN experience required Experience with low-risk pregnancy care, vaginal deliveries, and C-sections Proficiency in repairing 3rd and 4th degree lacerations Experience with VBAC, OB ultrasound, and amniocentesis preferred Ability to provide on-call hospital coverage and respond to emergent surgical needs Responsibilities Provide comprehensive OB/GYN coverage for labor and delivery services Respond to emergency department and urgent surgical needs as indicated Perform surgical coverage and manage emergent obstetric and gynecologic cases Complete clinic consults for emergent cases to determine need for admission Provide high-quality patient care during on-call coverage periods Work collaboratively with clinical support staff to ensure smooth patient flow and safe care delivery Apply now for this OB/GYN physician job in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, and join a healthcare team committed to exceptional women's health care.
