OB/GYN - New Britain, CT Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN •Schedule: Hospital Outpatient Department, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM•Weekends: As permitted by patient needs and call rotationsPosition Highlights:•Join a busy regional birthing center with approximately 1,600 births per year•Access to a Level III-a NICU•Robotic Operating Room capabilities•24-hour anesthesia coverage•Regional referral center for High-Risk OB•Level II ultrasounds supported by a thriving Maternal Fetal Medicine service•Blend of outpatient clinical sessions with flexibility to cover clinic, OR, and Labor & Delivery•Opportunity to participate in teaching approximately 40 UConn residents rotating throughout the year•Primarily day-time schedule•Academic appointment available at the University of ConnecticutAbout the Health System:•Part of one of Connecticut's largest integrated health systems•Network includes:o2,500+ providerso500+ practice locations across ConnecticutoSeven acute care hospitalsoLarge academic and surgical hospital in the NortheastoCommunity teaching hospitalsoPhysician-led, multi-specialty medical group•Culture focused on inclusion, innovation, academic excellence, and high-quality patient care•Located in Central Connecticut, approximately two hours from Boston and New York City•Access to highly rated school systems and vibrant New England communitiesQualifications:•Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Connecticut•Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
