Job description
We are seeking an OB/GYN Physician for ongoing hospital-based coverage in Pennsylvania. This opportunity offers in-house call coverage with a collaborative team environment and support from Midwives and Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists.
Assignment Details Ongoing coverage
Approximately 10 days per month
Multiple open dates available
Hospital-based practice
Schedule 24-hour in-house call shifts
7:00 AM 7:00 AM
Maximum 48 consecutive in-house hours permitted
Sleeping room available onsite
Practice Setting Acute Care Hospital
Labor & Delivery coverage
Hospital-based OB/GYN practice
Epic EMR
Clinical Responsibilities Serve as primary OB/GYN provider while on shift
Labor and delivery management
High-risk obstetrical care
Emergency OB/GYN coverage
Cesarean sections
VBAC management
Volume & Patient Population Approximately 700 deliveries annually
High-risk deliveries present
Newborn nursery available
Support Staff Midwife support
Maternal Fetal Medicine consultation available
Collaborative labor and delivery team
Requirements MD/DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN
Active Pennsylvania license required
DEA required
Minimum 1 year experience
Credentialing Approximately 90 days
Temporary privileges available for qualified candidates
Ideal Candidate OB/GYN physicians seeking ongoing in-house call coverage with a manageable delivery volume, collaborative support structure, and strong obstetrical experience.
