CHRISTUS Children s Hospital in San Antonio, TX is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible OB/GYN Hospitalist to join its expanding women s services program. This opportunity offers the ability to practice high-acuity obstetrics in a collaborative, mission-driven environment while maintaining excellent work/life balance.
About the Facility
CHRISTUS Children s Hospital is a stand-alone children s hospital with integrated women s services, providing comprehensive care supported by pediatric and neonatal subspecialties. The program emphasizes patient safety, quality outcomes, and team-based care.
Program Highlights:
High-acuity OB environment
Close collaboration with OB, MFM, NICU, and specialty teams
Strong nursing and hospital leadership support
Focus on quality improvement and patient-centered care
Position Highlights
OBHG Hospitalists serve as in-house clinical experts with no outpatient responsibilities.
Schedule: 5 7 (up to 8) 24-hour shifts per month
Time Off: 20+ days off monthly
No call, no clinic, no administrative duties
Guaranteed shifts with flexible scheduling

Key Responsibilities
Provide OB triage and emergency care
Manage labor and deliveries
Evaluate and treat unassigned and high-risk patients
Provide ED consultations and surgical assists
