OB Hospitalist Locums - Santa Maria, CA Assignment OverviewLocation: Santa Maria, CaliforniaStart Date: ASAPPractice Setting: Hospital-Based OB HospitalistCredentialing: Required with both the hospital and affiliated community health center AvailabilityStart: ASAPOngoing locum coverage needed Clinical DetailsOB Hospitalist coverageGYN coverage requiredApproximately 1-2 GYN surgeries per month First assist available from the hospitalist teamBackup support provided by Community Health Center clinic providersCoverage includes backup for Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs) and Family Practice providers affiliated with the FQHC Hospital InformationNICU: Level IIAverage Hospital Deliveries: Approximately 45 per monthHospitalist Deliveries: No unassigned deliveries; all deliveries originate from clinic patientsAverage Patient Encounters: Approximately 10 OB triage patients per dayMaternal-Fetal Medicine: On-callIn-House Anesthesia: YesEMR: Epic Licenses & CertificationsRequiredCalifornia Medical LicenseEpic EMR experience preferred for efficient onboarding ExperienceExperience providing OB Hospitalist coverageComfortable managing obstetrical emergencies, OB triage, and routine gynecologic careExperience with GYN surgical cases preferred (approximately 1-2 cases per month) Allow RecruitWell to set up a phone call with you and the client to discuss more!
