Locums OB Hospitalist - Vancouver, Washington Availability & ContractStart Date: October 6, 2026Orientation: Completed prior to start dateKnown Coverage Gaps: October 6, 2026 - 7:00 AM-7:00 AMNovember 20, 2026 - 7:00 AM-7:00 AMDecember 22, 2026 - 7:00 AM-7:00 AM Coverage: 24-hour shiftsCall Requirement: 3 24-hour shiftsReason for Opening: Backfill and coverage gapsCall Structure: Not intended to be strictly in-house; however, due to volume, providers typically remain onsite for the shiftTypical Volume per 24-Hour Shift: 2-6 deliveries, with occasional ED calls and hospitalist backup License & CredentialingWashington Medical License: RequiredMust have an active WA license due to credentialing turnaround time Board Certification: Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology - RequiredBLS: RequiredMust be through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, as applicable Clinical DetailsSpecialty: Obstetrics & Gynecology / OB HospitalistFacility Type: Acute Care HospitalTrauma Level: Adult II/III/IVSetting: Hospital-basedClinic privileges will also be pursued in case future coverage expands to clinicCurrent need is hospital only Privileges: Hospital and ClinicPatient Population: Adult womenDepartment Volume: Approximately 50-75 deliveries per monthEMR: EpicRounding: RequiredAdmissions: RequiredSolo Coverage: No; other OB/GYN providers are onsiteRequired Procedures: D&CC-sectionsOther inpatient OB/GYN procedures Recent Case Log RequirementsCandidates must provide documentation of clinical activity within the previous 24 months representative of the scope and complexity of the requested privileges:
