Locums-to-Perm OB Hospitalist Opportunity - Warren, Ohio AvailabilityStart Date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing locums coverage with permanent placement potential
Reason for Coverage: Additional provider support needed for laborist model

LicenseActive Ohio license preferred
Candidates willing to obtain Ohio licensure will be considered

Labor & Delivery Unit
Inpatient-only setting
No outpatient responsibilities
Level III Nursery
Epic EMR
Support Staff & ResourcesRegistered Nurses
Certified Nurse Midwife
Onsite Lab
Onsite Ultrasound
Required Clinical ExperienceObstetricsLow-risk pregnancies
High-risk pregnancies
Multiple gestations/twins
Toxemia
Diabetes in pregnancy
Chronic cardiac conditions
Chronic pulmonary disease
Chronic renal disease
Pyelonephritis
Labor & DeliveryVaginal deliveries
Operative vaginal deliveries (low forceps)
C-section decision-making
Cesarean sections
Breech deliveries
Multiple births
Placental abruptions
VBAC management
Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
GynecologyEmergency GYN coverage for unassigned patients
Diagnostic laparoscopy
Tubal ligation
Lysis of adhesions (LOA)
Chromotubation
Open gynecologic procedures
Ideal CandidateExperienced OB Hospitalist/Laborist
Comfortable managing both low- and high-risk obstetric patients
Proficient in operative deliveries and emergency obstetric procedures
