The Role:
Location: Washington, MO 63090
Assignment duration: ASAP - Ongoing
Shift Type: Every 5th weekend coverage - Friday 5pm to Monday 5am
Beds in Department: 16 (8 LDRP, 8 couplet/GYN)
Patient Encounters Per Shift: 5
RN staffing: 1:1 during labor, 2:1 postpartum, 4:1 women's health
PA/NPs in office: 1 NP
Office staff: 16 staff (MAs, RNs, PSRs)
Cases: Obstetrics and Gynecology coverage including low- and high-risk pregnancy management; fetal heart rate interpretation (NST/CST/FSE); OB ultrasound performance and interpretation (Level I and Level II); amniocentesis; routine and complicated deliveries (vaginal, low forceps, C-sections, breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBACs); repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations; office/minor gynecology (IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP); and surgical gynecology (open, laparoscopic diagnostic/minor, and operative/major cases).

Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
