OB/GYN Physician Locums Job in New York Call Only or Office with Call
OB/GYN locums opportunity in New York, with immediate coverage available and a greater need beginning January 2027. Flexible assignment options include call only or office coverage with call.
Details for Assignment:
Typical privileging timeframe: 90 days; emergency privileges may be available
Board Certification required
Rural health experience preferred
Office hours: 8AM-4:30PM
Call shifts begin and end at 7AM; 20-minute response time required
Call includes ED coverage, unassigned patients, OB call and GYN emergencies
Required procedures include C-sections and management of ectopic pregnancies
Approximately 400 deliveries annually
One employed OB/GYN, with midwife and fellow support
First assistant scheduled primarily for C-sections
Level I nursery; high-risk transfers out
Anesthesia physician and CRNA coverage available on call
EPIC proficiency preferred
ACLS and Fetal Monitoring required
Most recent 12-month case/procedure log required
