Job description
Job Title: Obstetrics Hospitalist Physician
Responsibilities
Provide 24-hour onsite coverage for OB/GYN consults and procedures in a hospital setting
Manage standard OB hospitalist cases, including deliveries and C-sections
Work in an inpatient facility with a Level IV NICU and Maternal Designation, and a Level I Trauma Center
Utilize electronic medical records (eCW) for documentation and patient management
Qualifications & Skills
Active Texas medical license or compact license with IMLC acceptance
Ability to perform OB/GYN procedures and manage labor and delivery cases
No specific certifications required
Key Duties
Cover various shift schedules, including 12- and 24-hour shifts
Coordinate patient care efficiently in a high-volume hospital environment
Ensure timely credentialing and compliance with facility requirements
