Job description
Job Title: Obstetrics Hospitalist Physician
Role And Responsibilities
Provide inpatient obstetric care in a hospital setting, including performing procedures such as Caesareans, suction dilation and curettage (D&C), laparoscopy, circumcisions, and tubal ligations.
Manage a mix of clinic and 24-hour call duties, ensuring continuous patient care and support.
Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems, specifically EPIC and Dragon, for documentation and patient management.
Maintain certification requirements including BLS, ACLS, and PALS, with active state licensure or participation in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
Qualifications And Skills
Board certification in obstetrics and gynecology.
Current and active medical license or IMLC participation.
Proficiency in managing obstetric cases and performing various procedures.
Key Duties
Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care.
Respond to call responsibilities with readiness to support urgent cases.
Ensure compliance with credentialing and certification standards.
