Certified Nurse Midwife Opening - Oxford, North CarolinaLocated in Oxford, NC - approximately 30 miles north of Durham and 40 miles north of RaleighFull-time; PermanentCertified Nurse MidwifeA community-based health system in Oxford, North Carolina is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care. This position offers the opportunity to practice full-scope midwifery within a 62-bed rural hospital while providing care throughout pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum recovery, and the reproductive lifespan. The incoming CNM will join a supportive environment focused on accessible, patient-centered women's health services.Position Highlights Full-scope Certified Nurse Midwife opportunity Provide prenatal, labor and delivery, postpartum, and gynecologic care Care for and support low-risk laboring patients throughout childbirth New obstetric visits and ongoing pregnancy management Fetal heart rate assessment and NST interpretation Labor assessment and cervical examinations Routine well-woman exams and Pap smears Family planning and reproductive health counseling STI screening and treatment Menopause and perimenopause management Evaluation of pelvic pain and postmenopausal bleeding Postoperative follow-up and problem visits Continuing education and professional development opportunitiesCompensation & Benefits Competitive hourly compensation commensurate with experience NC Local Government Pension Plan with 5-year vesting Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligible employer Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance and supplemental benefit options Paid time off Holiday pay Continuing education benefits Professional development opportunitiesQualifications AMCB Certified Nurse-Midwife Graduate of an ACME-accredited nurse-midwifery program Master's degree in Nursing (MS/MSN) Active and unrestricted RN license Current unrestricted DEA license or ability to obtain CPR and NALS certification At least one year of full-time CNM experience preferred Labor & Delivery experience preferredAbout the HospitalThe position is based within a longstanding community health system that has provided healthcare services to residents of Granville County for more than a century.
