Job description
Seeking a BE/BC OB Hospitalist to join a talented team east of Columbus, OH, with the support of an established hospital-employed multispecialty group.
Position Highlights:
Join a developing laborist program combining traditional and hospital-based obstetric care
Seven to eight 24-hour shifts per month, with no more than three consecutive shifts
In-house presence is not required throughout the shift; a 30-minute response is required
Manage scheduled C-sections, urgent and emergent OB/GYN surgical cases, continuous obstetric coverage and daily rounds
Approximately 25% of deliveries are C-sections; surgical procedures represent approximately 5-10% of responsibilities
24/7 in-house anesthesia and pediatric coverage; midwife coverage from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
Level II Special Care Nursery and neonatal coordination with a children's hospital in Columbus
Maternal-fetal medicine support for high-risk cases
Centralized and wireless maternal/fetal monitoring, da Vinci robotic technology, physician lounge and sleeping rooms
Ohio license or eligibility required; prior ambulatory experience preferred
Compensation & Benefits:
$400K base salary plus $75K sign-on bonus and quality incentives
$6K annual CME allowance and weekly on-site educational opportunities
