Location: Frederick, MD – Onsite
Contract: October 1, 2026 – December 31, 2026, with potential extension
Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM
About The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Registered Nurse (RN) for an onsite contract assignment in Frederick, Maryland. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN with a strong Emergency Room background who is comfortable working independently and providing high-quality clinical care during an overnight shift.
The RN will support employee health, workplace injury care, screenings, and occupational health programs within an onsite health center.
What You’ll Do
Provide comprehensive occupational and clinical nursing services to employees.
Assess and treat workplace injuries, illnesses, and acute health concerns within RN scope of practice.
Perform phlebotomy, health screenings, and applicable clinical procedures.
Respond to urgent and emergency situations.
Support fitness-for-duty and return-to-work evaluations.
Provide employee health education and promote workplace wellness.
Assist with identifying and mitigating workplace health hazards.
Maintain accurate, timely clinical and occupational health documentation.
Follow established clinical protocols, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
Work autonomously in a fast-paced onsite clinical environment.
What You Bring
Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
3+ years of RN experience in occupational health, emergency room, or ambulatory care.
Emergency Room experience required.
Strong clinical assessment and phlebotomy skills.
Current hands-on BLS certification through AHA, American Red Cross, or an approved equivalent.
Strong communication, documentation, organization, and independent decision-making skills.
Preferred: Occupational health experience, urgent care or ambulatory care experience, and COHN/COHN-S, Emergency Nursing, or Case Management certification.
