What You'll Do Support occupational health clinic team in evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of work-related injuries and illnesses
Manage patient care, including work restrictions, return-to-work evaluations, and case documentation
Perform procedures such as joint injections, aspirations, suturing, and splinting
Interpret diagnostic tests (labs, PFTs, imaging) and prescribe medications
Collaborate with clinical staff on injury management and case follow-up
Conduct DOT physicals and comply with all occupational health protocols
What You Need Active Michigan license with DEA registration
Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Occupational Medicine
2+ years of relevant experience preferred
Certifications: BLS, DOT/FMCSA
Strong clinical skills in injury and illness management, musculoskeletal procedures, and case coordination
About the Assignment
Join a dynamic occupational health unit providing essential services at a productive workplace. The provider will support health operations at a local meat packing plant, helping workers stay safe and healthy through evaluation, treatment, and preventive care. The clinic uses OHM EMR, and the role includes comprehensive occupational case management and procedures.
