Aspire Medical Staffing is in search of a Full-time Occupational Health Physician Assistant to provide services at Womack Army Medical Center on Ft. Bragg Army Base . Schedule: Monday through Friday

Occupation Health Physician Assistant Qualifications: Must be a US citizen
Degree: Bachelor's degree
Education: Graduation from a physician assistant educational program, accredited by the Accreditation Review Committee on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) or its predecessors, at a college, university, or educational institution that is accredited by an accrediting body or organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained.
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Certification.
Board Certification: Successful completion of the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) examination; must maintain status as a certified physician assistant, including completion of all requirements for Continuing Medical Education (CME) and re-certification.
Licensure/Registration: Shall have and maintain a current, full, active, and unrestricted license as a practical or vocational nurse in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Experience: One year of experience within the last two years as a Physician Assistant after graduation/training.
Occupational Health Physician Assistant Duties: Perform a full range of Occupational Medicine Physician Assistant duties for a large, highly diversified population working with a large range of potential hazards.
Performs job-related clinical examinations of military and civilian employees in-person and virtually, such as pre-employment, qualification exams, periodic exams regarding hazard exposure, fitness for duty, disability retirement, and health clearances before returning to work after certain illnesses and injuries. Advises Civilian Personnel Advisory Center regarding qualifications or disposition of applicants and employees.
Performs Department of Transportation CDL physicals.
Completes immunization reviews and lab orders related to immunizations and/or appointments.
Participates in immunization events.
Promote preventive care and health maintenance including annual physicals, positive health behaviors and self-care through both formal and individual education and counseling.
Establish collaborative rapport with physicians, nursing and others in order to promote and facilitate primary care services.
Attend staff meetings to provide case discussion, continuing education, and continuous quality improvement.
