Clinical Medical Assistant / Front Desk Coordinator - Outpatient Women's Health Jobs in Philadelphia, PA Join a collaborative Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, outpatient women's health team as a Clinical Medical Assistant and Front Desk Coordinator. This on-site, temp-to-perm healthcare job is ideal for a confident Medical Assistant who enjoys combining hands-on patient care, clinical support, and front-desk coordination. You will help create a welcoming patient experience while supporting efficient daily clinic operations.
Medical Assistant Job Details Weekly Estimated Pay: $860-$920 Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (19104) - an on-site opportunity in a vibrant, well-connected area with a strong healthcare and academic community. Healthcare Setting: Outpatient women's health practice Work Arrangement: On-site Schedule: Approximately 40 hours per week; office hours fall between 6:45 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Scheduling: Schedule will align with provider schedules and be provided approximately 3-4 weeks in advance Duration: 13-week temporary assignment with potential for permanent placement Attire: Maroon or burgundy scrubs Training: Orientation and electronic health record (EHR), scheduling, and privacy training provided as applicable Clinical Medical Assistant Job Requirements Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification is required At least 18 months of Clinical Medical Assistant experience Women's health or outpatient clinic experience is preferred Strong patient service, communication, and organizational skills Ability to perform both clinical support and front-desk functions in a fast-paced outpatient healthcare environment Comfort using electronic health records (EHR) and appointment scheduling systems; prior EHR experience is a plus Ability to complete required training, medical screening, and onboarding requirements before the start date Medical Assistant Responsibilities Room patients and prepare them for outpatient appointments Support providers with routine clinical, administrative, and patient care workflows Assist patients with front-desk check-in and check-out Coordinate appointment-related communication and provide courteous, responsive patient service Process medication prior authorizations and assist with related documentation Maintain accurate patient information and support efficient scheduling procedures Complete required privacy and electronic health record training Perform additional duties as assigned to support the women's health care team and patient experience Apply now to join this outpatient healthcare team and pursue a Clinical Medical Assistant opportunity in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
