n nResponsibilities
nThe Occupational Therapists per forms evaluation/re-evaluation, develops, plan of care, provides evidence-based treatment, assesses data reflective of the patient's status and appropriately interprets information relative to the patient's needs. Works closely with the patient, family, and other members of a physician-led team in providing individualized patient treatment. Completes required documentation of care and appropriate billing consistent with professional guidelines. Engages in research, education and quality initiatives in pursuit of excellence in the provision of care and develops and carries out a personal plan for professional growth. A small subset of employees may be required to drive on a regular or occasional basis.
nDuties require extensive standing and walking, frequent reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling can crouching. Requires heavy lifting, pushing and position/ transferring patients.
nQualifications
nBachelor's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited college or university required.
nAdditional Qualifications
nAn academic or professional doctorate is preferred (PhD, DSc, OTD).
nAdvanced Board Specialty Certification is preferred.
nLicense or Certification
nCurrent Arizona licensure as an Occupational Therapist. Basic Life Support certification is required upon hire and must be valid for 90 days or greater from start date. Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) competency.

nMonday through Friday 8am-5pm. One major and one minor holiday per calendar year.
nWeekend Schedule
nOne weekend every 4 weeks with associated comp days during the week.
