nPosition: Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant
n(COTA)
nLocation: St. Louis, MO; South and Central Counties
nType of Employment: Full-Time
nSouth Counties:
nChesterfield, Ballwin, Ellisville, Manchester, Wildwood, Town & Country, Robertsville, Eureka, House Springs and more. (Candidate must be willing and comfortable with the possibility of driving out to Washington and Union on occasion to help our ortho team if needed)

n nResponsibilities
nnnUnder the direct supervision of a licensed OT
n
nnAssists with the implementation of the therapy plan of care
n
nnResponsible for delegation and direction of supportive personnel for those assigned patients, in order to enhance patient care services
n
nnConsistently communicates with supervising OT in regard to scheduled patients to ensure identification of need for assessment and reassessment of patients, modification of treatment plans and other interventions requiring therapist direction
n
nnParticipates in education of patients, families, students, coworkers and self
n
nnPerforms other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, within the scope of practice
n
n nQualifications
n• Current state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant required
n• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required or as required by state regulations
n• Home Care Requirements: Valid state Driver’s License
