nResponsibilities
nWithin scope of practice and under the direction and supervision of the Occupational Therapist, provides prescribed therapeutic services in order to restore and prevent disability for clients, or patients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and cardiopulmonary disorders. Performs responsibilities in accordance with departmental and Hospital policies, state and federal regulatory requirements: Title 22 Section 70517, 70519.
nQualifications
nEducation and Work Experience
nnnAssociation Degree (COTA) from an accredited program
n
nnCurrent state Occupational Therapy certification
n
nnCurrent BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
n
nnNational Board for Certification Occupational Therapy certification, AOTA and OTAC membership preferred.
